I'm here looking (primarily) for insight and wisdom during a time of transition

Greetings. I'm not much of a group person, but I'm hoping to avoid having to avail myself of a therapist (again!) I feel like there must be other people out there who have been through similar transitions and/or situations as me -- or who, at the very least, can offer some serious (more or less), thoughtful, objective, non-judgmental insights into some of the personal issues I am currently facing.

I am an extremely self-reflective person, an introvert, an Aquarius, and given to (over?) analyzing situations. I strive to be objective and compassionate, but lately I'm finding that difficult due to my own stuff getting in the way. I have no real support network or community; I have no close friends except for my partner, who is in this case a big part of my problem! I'm hoping that in these forums I will be able to find topics and communities that can relate and offer much-needed wisdom and insight.

Welcome from Canada. It’s always good to read about different opinions and perspectives and many times this provides the light that shines upon a solution we may be struggling with. I am also an introvert, Capricorn, and I am looking forward to seeing your posts.

In that case you should ask yourself if "your analyzing the situation" is the cause of your problem. If not it may be the solution to your problem.

Talk with us Garangwyn, when times seem tight, trouble seems insurmountable, not giving up is what we got to do. I look out across a valley of miles of standing flash flood waters from the heavy rains 3 days ago. Situation is slightly damp there. The crops are harvested, TG!

Welcome, I hope you find some interesting comments as you participate on this forum.

Your initial post was a good introduction. Now please consider providing 'transition' or 'situations' that you would like folks to comment on. I am sure you would find it interesting if noting more...

Welcome Garangwyn!

In this forum are so many members, all of different upbringings, experiences and problems too.

Thus don't hesitate to tell us your situation and ask questions, I'm sure you'll get qualified answers.

Welcome Garangwyn!
I hope you are welcomed kindly by the members and can feel comforted by talking to us. I’m also an Aquarian who over analyzes things ( to the extreme ) at times.

I undid my "like" because I already liked it under another name. I was locked out as Alizerine. Now I'm Babs2u.
