I was reading something the other day that suggested that hanging out in a forum where you experience a preponderance of cognitive dissonance, is probably the wrong forum for you. So, if that is the case with some on the SF, get rid of the pesky cognitive dissonance!

Posting on an internet forum is a colossal waste of life. Yet here I am with a post count of over 4,000.

Reminds me of a line from the Simon and Garfunkel song "Dangling Conversation" It goes "And we note our place with bookmarkers that measure what we've lost"

Why do I do it? Because I need the eggs?

Ya know Beezer, posting about leaving due to dissatisfaction is called flouncing. But I was hoping you'd flounce yourself back in here so you could see that we'd rather you stay. Before you go, could you explain the Dan Hill comment? It's going to bug me not knowing.

I think it is play on words for 'downhill' - ie in his opinion the forum has gone downhill since new members joined.

Agreed! I understand and have put a whole lot of posters newbies on ignore in the past few days.
