Imagine yourself as a computer

Ok you are a computer, do you prefer a reboot of a fresh install?

If I am a computer, I want to be put in a new shiny case with all the latest, top of the line components.
Don't flatter yourself. At one time, Windows 3.1 in a new shiny Dell was all the best.
You might be shiny today and completely top of the line but the line keeps shifting
and what's shiny today likely wont be as much so tomorrow. But if you don't have a
dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?

Still better than what I'm in now. Getting old a second time doesn't sound so bad.

Are humans bio computers?

Higher order cell systems such as the immune and the endocrine system, the homeostasis system, and the nerve system can be described as computational systems. The most powerful biological computer we know is the human brain [18].

Luddite.... :ROFLMAO:
Did I tell you the tale of next door's 14 year-old? Probably, but memory and old age are not the best of companions.
A knock on the door and the lad is standing there with his mother. Mother asks: "Did I know anything about quadratic equations?" "Yes, but I need to find my school book just to refresh." "You still have your school book!" A very surprised mother said. "I will find it and call round." A quick search in the attic and there it is. Notice Holly, a quick search in the attic, not on line, Luddite indeed.

The young lad is very bright, he also realises that mathematics plays an important part in computer science, a subject that he excels in, so we go through his homework and he grasps the fact that quadratic equations have two answers. Quadratics have two answers because they can be reduced to a square root, in a suitable sense, and there are typically two square roots of any given value.

I give him a couple of easier examples and he cracked them straight away. Then I answered his first homework question and laid it upside down in front of him. He looked at his homework question, wrote it down, worked it out and looked at me for approval. "Turn my attempt over," I told him. They matched. He was triumphant. He then said: "If you are so smart, how come I had to program your new phone so that you could use it?" "That's a very good question, " I replied, as I gathered my book and went home.

Sometimes "smart" means knowing that one doesn't know everything, after all.

as far as a reboot or fresh install?

I need the entire model replaced, definitely including the brain parts. Mine are soup.

Minestrone anyone?

Imagine your brain as a hard drive. How much information do you think it would be able to hold or holds now? Maybe 10 TBS, 20 TBS, 30 TBS, or maybe more?
