Farrell and Fiennes did their Farrell, Fiennes thing, but Brendan Gleeson was outstanding
I could feel his feeling
Very entertaining movie (I didn’t fall asleep once)

Never heard of it, but then I can make a troglodyte look good. Glad you enjoyed it.
I'd bet you'd enjoy it

If you didn't, I'd pay a handsomely sum.....in quatloos of course

500 quatloos that I would enjoy it.

800 quatloos that I would leave in the first 15 minutes, to be timed by a non-partial third party.

1,000 quatloos that I would never leave my house.

(Thanks for the Trek throwback!)

Just saw this

Love finding a less than highly touted movie that rivets me
Low key, yes...but good, intriguing low key (I'm partial to low key)

The end was quite poignant
I saw that movie and thought it was so strange the setting they picked was Bruges...its such a medieval city. With that said, it probably played into the brutal plot, offering a stark contrast with the plot concept.

Boy, do I remember the chocolates we had there in a famous Belgian chocolate store/factory. The gondola like rides in the canals were really unusual. Funny seeing medieval buildings by the blocks full with Thermopane storm windows - stark contrast!
Also remember the beautiful churches/ cathedrals and the "Vin Blanc, ha ha. Good times with friends from Europe, to say the least. You're bringing back great memories, Gary!
