In Celebration Of Mothers Day 2024

My Mom died when I was 13. Every Mother's Day from that time has been very depressing for me. I appreciate my children's mother and all the mother's everywhere, but losing my mom at that age was a life changer, big time.

My mom doing what she did well. I'd say this photo was taken in the early 1960s in the house where I grew up. She loved that stove. It was a Magic Chef LP gas stove. She wanted to take it when we moved to the big Victorian house. I'm not sure what happened to it. BTW - I still have that Dutch boy and girl potholder caddy that's over the stove.

I hope all the mothers here had a grand day. I did, my family took me to a beautiful restaurant for dinner, it was fantastic. Love them all very much.
