In honor of Members of Senior Forum. A token of Appreciation for not being grammar professors

Each time I post a thread and all of you who respond and don't send a heartless hypercritical comment about my grammar skills being shot to hell, I pinch myself on the arm (which the way is badly bruised thanks to you)
This is my first website not filled with grammar professors obsessed with correcting people bad writings. So obsessed they overlook the meaning and ideas in the comment you posted. Thank you for reading my threads and looking over my many writing style mistakes. You all are the best!

Thank you Barneyhill and don't worry too much.

I always think that I have written perfectly till I go
back and read it again, sometimes days later, when
I find all kinds of mistakes, so I only see what I want
to and the person who doesn't made a mistake hasn't
been born yet.

Mike.

The only person I've corrected, lately, is one who, inexplicably, ended almost all of her declarative sentences with a "?". I found that very annoying.

In the past, a (big show-off) member whom I blocked, long ago, tried to "correct" my use of "anti-ageist." In explaining her reasoning, it was comically obvious that she was the one who had it "bass ackwards!"

I would never publicly correct someone whose grammar was faulty however, I do make a list of names which I forward to the Grammar Police in Washington and Interpol. Those persons with poor English skills who are no longer Senior Forums members have obviously been culled by agents of those agencies and are likely never to be heard from again. Those of you residing in Great Britain will be pleased that I have written to my good friend, "Liz II" about this situation. She agrees with me completely however, I consider her "Off with their heads" solution to be a bit extreme.

What I notice more is the folks who make obvious spelling errors. They need to read what they wrote before they hit the "post reply" button.

I would never do that-and I do admit to using an apostrophe in the wrong place the other day.It was autocorrects fault!🤔
