I quit August 2nd of 2023. So I guess in about 39 or so days it will be my anniversary of giving up the tobacco.well 100% honest here, I would have guessed it was *maybe* 8 months. You rock!
Aunt Bea, did you ever manage to stop smoking for good?Congratulations!
I carried an unopened pack with me for almost a year just in case I went nuts and couldn’t take it anymore.
Quitting smoking is a huge accomplishment, I know because I did it hundreds of times!
Congratulations Beezer, in one week it'll be my 35th anniversary of not smoking. The urge to smoke lingers for a long time, but passes more easily with time.
I heard quitting smoking was easy because we've done it hundreds of times...Quitting smoking is a huge accomplishment, I know because I did it hundreds of times!
Over 15 years ago.Aunt Bea, did you ever manage to stop smoking for good?
That's really awesome because I know the feeling. I quit May 20th 2013 and for 9 years afterwards I was really at times wanting a cigarette, not bad jonesing for it but at times I wanted another cigarette.
That will go away with time. Every time you want one suck a candy or chew a piece of gum. I've been smoke free since the early 2000s and I no longer desire one and the smell of them on someone else grosses me out.
