In the great debate over soap and body wash, is that a hint about your adventurous level?

Body wash costs more than soap and doesn't work as well. So it's a perfect Millenial type of thing, sort of like avocado toast.
Avocado toast with a slither of smoked salmon on top is a wondrous thing :)

I like Irish Spring bar soap but .......... damn nation do we have to argue over everything ?

"Body-Wash" is nothing more than liquid soap is it not ? And what can soap possibly say about us ?!?! ...........geesh!

I use the body wash (satsuma) from The Body Shop. I also use bar soap but mostly for shaving. I also use bar shop (Lush) for hand washing and the rest in my house use liquid soap (Mrs. Meyers).

DH uses a body wash because it sudses better on the scrubbie.

We must use different scrubbies, soap or just have a difference of opinion. I use the round plastic mesh poufs ...last forever, easy to rinse out... and find the bar soap suds up on it much more so than a liquid.

@AnnieA. It may be more about our hard water than the type of scrubbie. Ours are the same as yours, except on a handle. Liquid soap definitely creates more bubbles.

As adult never paid much attention to cosmetics and use little. As an octogenarian, have used Ivory soap most of my adult life after learning it was a relatively pure soap product. Seems to be healthy as my wonderful skin still has few wrinkles though not as pliable as when young. Am one that likes feeling clean . On overnight backpacking trips where hiking dusty trails can be grubby, sweaty, sticky most enthusiasts ironically never get into streams or lakes even after days on trails because such waters are chilly haha. I almost always will soap wash my face and jump into available water each day even if chilly and my clean goose down sleeping bag is happy for it.
