of course - because you can have your own opinion but you cannot have your own facts - what breed and colour of a dog is factual - bias is subjective, not factual

I have the same opinion as Rakaia.

It could cause the beating, maiming, or death of MANY others. It could cause riots that will cause loss of property and life of MANY others.
If an Attorney General of a state does something on purpose, and death and destruction happen due to the release, that otherwise would not have happened, it will illustrate responsibility and accountability for ones actions. Actions (releasing the tape) the releaser should "reasonably" have known would occur if they took that action. That is why she put in her opening statement what she did. To CYA and it was false.

Opinion about what? That Rs opinion is just an opinion? Well, I agree with you both if that is the opinion.

But the colour of a dog is a fact: black. But if R does not know the breed of the dog, making an assumption the dog is a lab, is wrong. Now we have assumptions making opinions. And until all facts are clearly facts, then "feelings" aka emotions, as well as assumptions, are a poor way to form opinions because feelings are emotions and not critical, nor even advised when thinking and looking for facts.
 

right - so you agree releasing a video, rightly or wrongly, is on the level of guards beating a man to death??

Good and Evil are the ONLY two choices offered.

It was clear that the prison or correctional officers are complete -and in no way can be called human-human excrement.
Whether or not they were smart enough to tie their own shoes (realize video evidence is right there), they need to be sent to prison for life. They killed someone who was helpless at the time. Not accidental, not manslaughter, maybe not first degree, but clearly in between.
Regardless of what people want to believe, there is a massive bias against black criminals. No matter what. They are hated for some reason more than white criminals or (in the us) Mexican or Native American criminals.
Maybe its innate hatred, maybe its taught, doesn't really matter.
Racism exists, always will. All we can do is punish those that engage.

How about you start a thread on language and how we come across by what terms we use or something like that - could be interesting discussion, and we could all learn something

But lets not hijack this one on it.
 
Yeah this a one of the problems today. One person interprets something totally different than another. Too many 'opinions' on what someones statement meant.
Anyway, I read today that the staff on site were suspended pending investigation...I haven't confirmed that or rather any further update yet.

Therefore I was not going to repeat AGAIN on my premise as you just are not picking up on it.

What I do see is that I am unable to express it to YOU, clearly without eye contact and body language and watching you responsed in return to gauge your understanding or not after each statement or sentence. So I sit here trying to repeat it different ways and then you ask me a question which YOU think is simple, while totally IGNORING cerain contexts of the murder revelation problem in this instance.

Well I did read that civil rights groups and advocacy groups are planning protests due to the history and culture of violence that has been somewhat prevalent in the NY Dept. of Corrections. But thus far, no riots or more violence and in a country that guarantees the right to protest, those should not happen. Whether or not outside instigators seize the advantage and turn it into a time of violence remains to be seen.

If violence does happen, it still isn't her fault because rioters are adults who should know better. Having nation wide rights (freedom to protest) doesn't only hold if it's one's person issue, but means respecting the right of others to 'protest' too.
 
Let's see, do felons in prisons have the right to vote ?
I believe they obey the State Rules run in the prison or
should get thrown into a dark-dank hole.

They enter the prison, get luxury apartments for life,
TV's, Radios, free meals and health cards, dental, decent jobs. Social networks a galore.

Should Prisons be Cages with a roof ? Of course prisons are full of really decent people,
They just lost their mind and beat up someone, robbed em, knifed, shot, clubbed them.
Run over em on the sidewalk. They were all good kids just wanting to have fun.
So, they stole some cars, drove em into Gun stores stole a bunch and Ammo, drove
around in another stolen car drive by shooting. Just cause they could.

They just wanted to have some fun! U no a Frog might starve if its food didn't move some.
You can starve if you only have Rabbit, Squirrel & snake to eat.

Again and again we see those in authority positions beating up on the little guy.
It will never end. Few of those who do the beating will be charged and put away.
One has to wonder, how many citizens are being beaten by these thugs.
We see a very small percentage. Most never make it to the public eye.
 
I saw a full-sized skeleton in a used shop yesterday, & when I picked it up by the spine it had a screw loose.
I'm holding the Skull and upper spine. The rest lays crumpled on the floor. I say, "This guy has a screw loose."

My Grandson cracked up.

It would have been a hate crime to hang it up under the limb.

At the beginning of the first Axon camera it looks like Robert Brooks was attempting to escape from the correctional facility. On another note the two civilian medical technicians well knew if they made any attempt to interfere with that murderous beating they would probably suffer the same fate as Mr. Brooks.

I am not going to minimize the death of Mr. Brooks but it would be interesting to interview his brutally stabbed girlfriends family and get their take on this. I don't want to appear out of line with this travesty from his girlfriends stabbing to his untimely death but if she had male brothers, cousins or even her father he might not have had the opportunity to be remanded to a prison. Racist or just plain NYS Correctional thugs our good Lord in Heaven is watching. Thanks for reading.
