Anyone here drink it ?

What is considered the best tasting ?

1 cuppa day X 5 days a week. Store brand.

Don't like the taste of coffee and didn't start drinking it until age 68 but like the mild buzz on an empty stomach.

The other two days (Sat. & Sun.) I get a little extra early morning buzz from 5-hour energy shots.

Is that a Cappuccino ?

It doesn't have steamed milk or a foamy top. I start with a few 72% cocoa chocolate chips, add a little heavy cream (grass fed dairy) to make a smooth, thin ganache. Then I stir in hot water, add a little instant coffee and stevia. Just works for what I have on hand. I always have grass fed cream because I put a little in my smoothies due to its anti-inflammatory fatty acid profile.

I keep some on hand.

Walmart's Great Value Classic Roast is as good as any and usually about half the price of name brand products.

For me, the trick is bringing the water and the instant coffee to a boil together rather than adding a spoonful of coffee to a cup of hot water.

It's easy enough to do if you mix the coffee and cold water in the same cup and then microwave it until it bubbles up.

If you don't have access to a microwave then measure the water and coffee into a saucepan and bring it to a boil on the stove.

A cup, or two, of Instant Folgers each morning, unless we stop by Dunkin Donuts. Love Folgers, but really, really love Dunkin Donuts, Waffle House and iHop coffee. Must always have some kind of cream, flavored or 1/2 & 1/2 and a packet of Splenda. Definitely never/ever black.

Started drinking coffee in the Navy while on watch at sea or in port. A nice hot cup of coffee, with cream/sugar, and a smoke, while standing a mid-watch (11:45PM to 3:45AM) at sea, outside, would really hit the spot for staying awake.

Another concession to the advancing years.
😉🤭😂

I’ve reduced my daily coffee consumption and switched to instant coffee by the cup in the microwave.

I thought about trying a k-cup contraption but instant seems like a better option for me.

I’m currently drinking Cafe Bustelo but I’m curious about what brands other instant coffee drinkers use.

I have tried all manner of perk, stove-top and electric. Have had a few drippers as well, my most recent is a single cup drip style. They all have their good points ? but some of the drip style either, burn what's left in the carafe or they do not keep it hot . I was just thinking about a 'new' way, as it seems that the older I get, I drink Iess, particularly in warmer months.

Even though it is a pain on some mornings, I suppose for me, my single cup dripper is the easiest . I might try instant just for self education , I'll see.

I hate instant coffee. I'm a major coffee drinker, but I'd rather have none at all than instant.
Here in the UK, we are a land of tea drinkers, so if like me, you don't like tea, then coffee it is. But coffee has to be coffee not something that comes straight out of The Devil's lavatory and called instant coffee.

The old-fashioned percolators are making a comeback.
Ours never went away. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

After five decades it still makes decent coffee but, given the time and effort it takes to set it up and then later to clean it, I generally resort to instant. Instant coffees all taste pretty much the same to me.
