ClassicRockr, I know we should put this thread to rest but I can’t as is.
By nature I’m a nit picker. I’ can pick out anything that doesn’t sound right. It drives my husband ‘nuts’ because instead of keeping to myself, I’ll point it out. It’s something I’m used to. Others not so much but I’ve no doubt it’s annoying or so I’ve been told.
When I joined this thread I hadn’t read the posts before my first post so had no idea what was said. What caught my eye was your polarization of farmer/ranchers verses city dwellers so of course I had to comment on it. Was it really ‘that’ important that I needed to mention it? No! It was inconsiderate of me and there was no need whatsoever.
After that all my posts were in response to answering your questions which I did and included pictures. That was my way of contributing to your thread and it most definitely wasn’t done mean spiritedly. It was done because I share a passion of horses with you.
While I know nothing about ranching or rodeo’s, I do share the LOVE of these large gorgeous animals. ( horses
) so was trying to join in.The only reason I added the pictures of me riding was because you asked for them. They weren’t recent pictures ( about 25 years old ) but most of my other photos are digital and on memory sticks and since we have no computer, I can’t access them. We still go horseback riding so when we go this spring / summer, I’ll be sure to take some pictures and hopefully add them somewhere suitable.
Anyway, it wasn’t until I posted my horseback photos that I even realized that you were upset and I get the impression from your posts that you think I teamed up with others to pick on you and that this was all a planned sabotage. and Cody, I don’t blame you for thinking but I swear to God that this was not the case.
I sincerely like you as a member. After the cowboy hat thread, you left and I felt really bad and promised myself I would never poke fun of you again and if you felt like I did , I’m truly sorry.
I tried to express this in an earlier post but it read more like a lecture, a style I’m certainly guilty of.
The reason I write this is because I don’t want you thinking that there’s a clique of Cody haters out to get you.
You have many friends here and I’m one of them.
