Interior Ideas with Pictures​

When we built our mountain cabins, most our interior ideas were driven by practicality
(small, very small, cabins)



Had to have windows or we'd suffer severe cabin fever



They expanded our 'rooms'



Deep snow shrunk the rooms back down to small

Bookshelves...

Still
we made room for books
many books
They were a must
Winters were long

We did do our best to give the cabins a bit of warmth




Of course a wood stove provides many types of warmth

A friend of mine has a good friend who recently bought a condo in the same building as the unit below. She was invited there to see it and admits that though she isn't easily impressed, that condo impressed her. Well it should...it was just over one million. The listing showing her friend's actual unit was removed from Zillow less than a week ago, but this unit is very similar to hers, except hers is a corner unit. The clean lines and monotone colors give it a fresh, crisp look and are very similar to the decor in her apartment. This color scheme was used throughout her friend's apartment.

How odd. When I clicked on the link, the picture didn't open because it doesn't seem to be a clickable link. But when I hit reply, the picture loaded! That is my kind of furniture, love the color scheme and fireplace, but the wall hangings (maybe they're drapes) are a bit much.
