My cat has his own room for night because he's such a pest at night! Kneads constantly or licks obsessively, hence his own room. We've got an antique Belgian wardrobe in there and shelves attached to the wall behind it, that he uses likes steps. His cat bed is up on top because like you said, they like being up high sometimes.

Do NOT let my spouse see this :ROFLMAO: . He loves nostalgia and a VW bus or wood panel station wagon makes him buy weird things. We are the same age and HE always enjoys stuff 10 years older than what I prefer - I believe he is this way because he was the youngest and had a sister 10 years older than he, that influenced him. His parents were also 17-22 years older than my parents when he was born; his mother was 38 when he was born, mine was 21.
