Internet Forum Taxes Start Today!

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
Starting today, throughout the United States only, there will be a tax on all Internet forum users and owners.

The tax, recently passed by the House after being bogged down by protests, will be calculated by usage. If you are the owner of a forum, the tax will be a flat $1,000/year.

Forum members will be taxed on the amount of posts they make. There will be a complex calculation involved - probably you'll need to see your tax person / accountant - but as a rough guide it will be a penny a post, accrued on a yearly basis and payable by the first of the new year for all previous year's posts.

Since we are starting off in the fourth month, taxes will be prorated.

Religious discussions will be exempt from the tax.

Aw, thank you - nice to be appreciated.

Ugh - we have taxes upon taxes! I've never understood why one is penalized for being successful ...

Someone has GOT to figure out how to harness the Internet for tax purposes!

I agree with Kadee46. Phil's humor is over the heads of the naysayers.

Some of them actually believe they are funny. BOY, Have I got news for them.
