Interstellar Visitors: Benevolent or Malevolent?

I think they view us as nothing more than somewhat intelligent apes.
And maybe, just maybe, any interstellar visitors will find us to be (or have found us to be) insignificant! What a blow that would be to the psyche of the most arrogant, dangerous predator, invasive species on this planet. They could be going about some alien purpose far beyond our understanding.

Sooo should I be looking over my shoulder…naw not arrogant nor a predator..just among the boring not worth following…

Don’t think they exist.
"Intelligence" is a human defined term. That of a chimpanzee, for example, is much greater than that of a fish. And we humans say that ours is some level of magnitude beyond that of the chimpanzee. Given the billions of years that the universe has been in existence, I don't think that it's much of a stretch to believe that intelligence has evolved many orders of magnitude beyond that of the human being (which has only been around in our present form for a few hundred thousand).

I think that there is so much more to the universe, to reality, that is far beyond our ability to comprehend--not a lack of knowledge, but a lack of intelligence.

Well said, but think they’d run out of gas before they got to our galaxy. But maybe they
have created a good battery or some method of travel we don’t yet know about. Or maybe
nothing out in space but our imagination and our collective knowledge,

Interstellar Visitors: Benevolent or Malevolent

As long as we are speculating might as well believe the best & believe there are some extra terrestrial beings are out there somewhere. Could be hundreds of other life forms that don't look like we do as humans.

Who knows for sure God didn't have a plan for entertainment & created his own zoo of extra terrestrial beings, with humans being part of that entertainment?
