Invest in some chickens!

 🤭 🤪 Well (as my grandma would say) "now I've seen it all." But I'll have to pass on this one. The only experience I have is remembering how disgusted I always was as a very little girl, to be at my grandparents' farm and constantly being careful to remind myself "don't step in the peepy poo."

Very entertaining! When I lived in Chicago I recall hearing a story about one of the early advocates of using deep fryer oil to power diesel engines--now known as biodiesel. A man in Wisconsin set up a system in his garage and started going around collecting the used oil from restaurants. He mostly got his oil from Mexican restaurants. Wherever he drove it smelled like tacos. And no, I'm not joking.

Knowing how resourceful farmers are, they must have found a buyer for chicken poo?????
The thread,"Invest in some chickens!" reminds me of a buddy. He heard on the radio that you could get a hundred chicks for $10, which included shipping. So he decided to go into the egg business. He built a coop and ordered the chicks, so the money would just roll in. The chicks arrived just as ordered. They were all roosters.

Yep, it was a pretty big deal back in 2005. Couple of filters, some heat, and you could make your own fuel. Then, folks got wise and started charging for the oil, and large corporations started getting contracts with restaurants for the oil to re-sell and that pretty well squashed the concept of inexpensive homemade fuel. :(
