Can you tell me how you became aware of the virus, (did you "allow cookies? I didn't luckily btw)?
I thought my virus protection was pretty up to date, and I'm still afraid of clicking on the "do you agree to cookies" button on almost any website, certainly I've avoided the best known one in the world for almost a year because of this.
I keep clicking on it and my laptop seems to have survived the experience far, (the other website I mentioned earlier still wrries me though!):

The site I refer to as being most afraid of is ligit of course, as its one of the biggest, if not the biggest in the world, but my old computer seemed to get filled up with viruses if I used it, (I admit my old machine wasn't so well protected though).
I actually had this happen in part with my mom's old treadle sewing machine as I tried to take it down the stairs by myself.
