I hadn't really considered the possibility of supply chain interruptions - yet again. Ugh.
Short of widespread terrorism, bombings or other dramatic events, however, it seems unlikely there will be dramatic issues with the movement of food, fuel and other survival supplies that are sourced and sold among North, South and Central American countries.
Sigh...
p.s. I mostly use 2 liter plastic soda bottles for storing (filtered) water. Have about 20 of them in the garage. My tap water is chlorinated (city water, not well water) so I don't need to chlorinate it when bottling it. Every summer I dump the bottles in the pool and refill.
Same with the 10 one gallon and dozen two liter soda bottles I keep in the camper. We drink them while RVing. When we return home I refill with filtered water and place them back in the RV. Way cheaper than buying specialty containers plus the RV is always stocked with fresh, potable water.
