Is it hard to get just the right temp. for sleeping, or when you're awake?

My internal thermostat is whackadoodle. I'm always too hot or too cold. Never comfy.

I leave my thermostat at 65F (18C), so it never gets colder than that, but it can get really warm in summer because I don't have air conditioning. Why not? The cost of central air isn't worth it to me for the 4 to 5 weeks of hot summer weather added to the maintenence. I use fans in doors and at night to try to cool down the house (or, as I refer to it, my summer sweat box). Window ACs are too heavy and bulky for me to manipulate. It can be 70F in the house and sometimes that feels cool, other times it seems warm and sometimes it's just right. Go figure.
