yes and that video I posted was in feb this year so, she's 81 and still singing in tune..which tbh.. is where the singers start to lose it.. Paul McCartney sounds terrible live.. he's lost it, but no-one will tell him, same with Barry Gibb...I saw her in concert twice. But both times were in the 1980's, so she was just in her 40's at the time.
Mick keep himself super fit,.. he exercise every single day.. he rides a sport bike around the town in France where he lives ..fast... like he was 16 years oldI think some of the old rock stars that still perform are great. Some like Mick Jagger still have the energy to jump around on stage. The old rock stars will be missed when no longer with us but not forgotten by many generations.
But, most of their fans are also old and wrinkled! It works out...they will only stop when they want to after few want to see them perform...I bet you're right, @hollydolly.
That's the key, IMO. It's pitiful when 70-80 years olds try to dress and act like they were 35. Nothing wrong with capitalizing on one's name, but act your age. People want to hear their favorite music. They don't care about the artists jumping around on stage. If they can, let 'em. But for Pete's sake I hope they stop DRESSING like when they were young!
No unfortunately they're not...it's the young who can afford the massive ticket prices....But, most of their fans are also old and wrinkled! It works out...they will only stop when they want to after few want to see them perform...
