Is or was Monty Python funny?

It's a thing my husband and I cannot agree on , over many years. He thinks they were the funniest ever but I am totally unmoved by Monty Python. I do have a sense of humour but have wondered if something is very wrong with me, since everyone else seems to find them hilarious.
So what do you think?

I’m not into them either. Humour is huge on my ‘want to have bucket list’ however when silly crosses over to outright stupid, it’s no longer funny to me. That’s about how I felt about Monty Panthom and I have to agree with whoever said it’s geared more towards men.
