Is there a new subject children are learning in school? Fear?

Oh, lord Buddha, I can't take these do-gooders! Mark my words: Wal-Mart is going to start selling little lockable plastic bubbles to put your kids in. They'll look like those exercise balls for hamsters, so Johnny and Jane can roll themselves to school without getting a speck of dirt on them.

Tot-Pods!

They'll also have options such as cell phones, pepper-spray attachments and good-touch/bad-touch sensors.

I'm glad my boys are past that stage.

No problem just stick the student in front of a computer all day like they doing now and let the teachers play with their cell phones.

If you think about it, these efforts aren't too unreasonable, With all the kooks, mentally unstable jerks and terrorists,

school shooters etc running around, every precaution should be considered.

I'm glad I'll be six feet under when all of these kids become adults in this world...rather look down from above at the pathetic chaos these paranoid "do-gooders" created. The wussyfication of America for sure! Okay, the birthday invites can be done on personal time or outside after school, not in the classroom.

These adults are so worried about hurting the children's feelings, it's ridiculous! I heard that they are not even giving students that excel in certain areas, the usual rewards and acknowledgements that they were given in the past for their hard work. They don't want to hurt the feelings of the ones who didn't accomplish anything.

Why not just tell those other kids that with some effort and determination, they can be acknowledged also, maybe just in a different subject or particular talent. They're raising these kids in the school first of all, that should be the parent's job in the home...big part of the problems we have today. Secondly, they're making spineless jellyfish out of these kids, instead of building strong, balanced and caring characters.

They'll go from Ritalin in grade school, to Prozac, etc. in their teens and adult lives...well at least big pharma profits, that's all that matters anymore, the hell with the kids. They can be the guinea pigs for some new anti-psychotics...keep 'em numb and dumb, that seems to be the goal. What a crying shame! :( The majority of these school shooters are young people who have jumped from one prescription pill for mental illness or depression to another, since before they even had the chance to mature. Most of us haven't taken that many prescriptions in our whole lives! Those drugs cause suicidal and homicidal tendencies. Let's train the young ones to be the mentally unstable of the future.

I heard that at least one school was not permitting any games in the gym or on the playground with any ball other than Nerf balls, how insane is that! Well, we have to protect little Johnny from possibly getting hit by a ball in his childhood, that would be a disgrace! Honestly, if I had a kid in this day and age, as much as I'm against it, I probably would home-school.

There was a story about a school awhile back that was putting GPS identifications on the kids, of course, it was for their own protection, right. Let's slowly condition them now to be completely monitored and "protected" by the authorities, and in the future we can just tattoo a bar code on their heads, or chip all the student's hands with all the personal information we need on them. 1984 is a fairytale compared to 2014.
