Is there a piece of ‘outdated’ technology you still miss?

I forgot about the BUD. I had mine right up until they didn't support C-Band anymore. I haven't been able to watch any Canadian tv since. I used to hunt down a lot of wild feeds too.

Werent the wild feeds fun. You could watch them practice their spiels . Bloopers and all.

Copper wired telephones are very reliable. The apartments where I live were built with no possibilities for standard phones.

yes... 8-track blasting out the 6x9 Jensons and orange shag interior. (not just the rear deck). Man... we were sitting in tall cotton.

I miss the days before music started being recorded digitally. Music in the old analogue days was far better.

That said, I like having a digital audio workstation on my computer and having the ability to record my music. It's one of my main hobbies now that I'm retired. I can even pitch correct my own vocals to make it sound like I can sing.

I had a text pager for a while, the service was more than it was worth. That plus to send a text you still had to use a phone to call an operator, so those text messages weren't terribly "private".

I just cleaned the and lubed the knobs and switches of this old girl, because everything newer sounds like crap to me.

I thought about it, but it sounds so damn good, I decided not to go any further.

We could send to an email address and it flowed automagically through.
