Is there a way to delete a post you make?

A couple times I have posted something and I want to delete it afterward. ( a link doesn't work, etc....? ) I can edit it, but I find no way to delete it. ?

I have looked how to delete a post I’m either looking in wrong place or it’s not possible

Use Edit, then delete the text and replace with something else. "Deleted" works for most here.

However, if someone has already replied with a quotation there's not much you can do as far as I can tell.

Yes as Warrigal said, click 'edit' which you will see in the box where you've made your post , to delete part or all of your post there... or simply use the 'delete' button at the bottom of the box where you replied

if someone has quoted your post then it's still possible for you to remove the original, but the evidence will still remain in the quote...

Write something political. That will get it deleted.
