Is there any singer you always wished you could see in person?

John Lennon and Paul McCartney in the '60s. They looked like they were having the time of their lives when they performed with the Beatles. Then again, I wouldn't have wanted to see them with all the screaming fans. That would have been annoying. So maybe the rooftop concert. That would have been something. So much talent in that band.

Also, John Fogerty during CCR's heyday. He was a great soul singer and guitar player.

I don't know who else. I've seen Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, CSN&Y, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, BB King, Ray Charles, and many others. Rick Danko, Levon Helm, and Richard Manuel would have been cool to see.

Janis Joplin would have been interesting to see. Maybe Leonard Cohen.

I've been fortunate enough to see U2, Stevie Nicks, Cher and Diana Ross in concert. I would still like to see Bruno Mars in concert. He is the total package. I would have loved to have seen Whitney Houston while she was still with us. I also agree with @Lawrence00 that Lady Gaga would be a treat as well.

Lady Gaga's cousin is a friend of my husband's.

I have seen a whole bunch but I never did see Hank Williams, Sr., Marty Robbins and Waylon Jennings. For Popular singers I would have liked to see Buddy Holly. They have all died years ago but they live on my CD collection and always will as long as I am around.

The day I met my husband he looked exactly like Buddy Holly and I fell immediately in love. And we are married over 50yrs now.

Allman Brothers, Tom Petty, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson. Guess I could still see the latter two if I had the intent.

Saw Janis Joplin (not so good) and Linda Ronstadt (amazing) way back when.

Brenda LEE or Connie FRANCIS. As a young man had a crush on both of them. Have their CDs. Pop 'em the player from time to time. Brings back fond memories.
Back when I was racing RC cars I'd drive from Houston to San Antonio. A three-hour drive each way for a one-day event. Those two CDs were first in and last out.

It must of been those dark rim glasses. I have an old photo wearing such a pair. Dark rim glasses were quite popular during the 1950s, if I recall. By the way, 50 years deserves a heart-felt congratulations. That is pretty rare today.
