True enough they are not...
So many Christian believers in the afterlife have realized that their opinion in online forums causes personal heated attacks, and yes hatred, from unbelievers instead of acceptance of other's freedom of speech and religion. Yet, they go on sharing their own faith in atheism or unbelief.

Isn't it too bad anyone refrains from giving an honest opinion because it might set off someone who can not control their emotions. Maybe that's harsh but I do think it's sad. I tend to state what I think and if I get a very strong negative reaction I try very hard not to offend but I will usually answer.

I really learn from disagreements. To me what is frustrating about board discussions is the limited space and time we have and invariably there are misinterpretations ..I try to keep that in mind too when reading responses.
 
I hate Evil. I hate it because it presents itself as good, righteous, and full of light in order to do its work. Why even do that? You're Evil, at least own what you are instead of lurking around looking good while drawing the unsuspecting into your misery. Oh but that would make you honest. Sorry, I forgot, you're Evil.
 
"Evil" is subjective.

To us here in the U.S., Islamic extremists are evil, since they attacked us on 9/11/2001 along with all the other suicide bombings.

To the "Islamic extremists," the U.S. is the Great Satan because of what we did to several Islamic, Middle Eastern countries over the years including our invasion and occupation of Iraq, but more generally, U.S. imperialism around the world -- especially in Iran, which is where the Ayatollah coined the phrase.

It's all a matter of perspective.
 
I have never, personally, been in a sitation that has caused me to hate someone, and I pray to God I never am.
I hate the awfulness that people have done. I hate the situations and sorrow they have caused, but I donā€™t hate THEM. I keep thinking that is somebodies baby girl or boy. What happened to make them this evil? I guess in some respects I feel sorry for them when it comes right down to it

I guess, no, I KNOW that I have lived a sheltered life, and maybe that is why I canā€™t comprehend hatred.
 
I was the stereotypical clean-cut all American boy (emphasis on boy) when I enlisted and volunteered at 18 in 1965. I had never hated anything nor anyone but soon hated the enemy, the government who sent us, the jerks who loved the war and the people who hated us for serving.

I, for one never hated the troops who served in any wars, especially the Vietnam War. I am proud and thankful to all those who served. Thank you for your service, @SetWave .

How about the military industrial complex that influences government policies so they can profit from them?

There's plenty to hate about war -- especially unnecessary wars, and that we didn't learn our lesson from Vietnam, as evidenced by our wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. War is a big, money making enterprise. Some of our military interventions during the past 100 or so years were to protect corporate interests in third-world countries so they could exploit their resources.

That was the case in Central America. We destroyed those countries' governments and created the unrest that exists there today, which is why so many people from that area are coming to the U.S. The eagle is coming home to roost, so to speak.
 
l dislike phonies who pretend they are sick or hurt andwhen you see them going down the hall way they are almost running --they just want to set on their-butts and not do anything
