Is this a bug???

Say a thread has 35 replies, so 2 pages, 20 and 15 posts each. You open the thread for the first time and get #1 at the top. You read down maybe 10 replies on page 1 and decide to post a reply. You compose and enter, to make reply #36. The display then shows your post at the bottom of page 2, reply #35 and earlier above it. The curious thing is the page counter below your post still reads that you are on page 1.

[I know, ridiculously trivial. My only defense is that I'm a retired bored techie with a bit of OCD. 🤓]

That explains alot!o_O
You could count all the connections on the dark web and report back! That should keep you busy from being bored!
 
You need to use the "Quote Message" button on earlier posts. That revives that particular response. Sometimes your motivated to go back to that "page" for context....threads change direction often. :)

It shows on page one where you posted it, but if you go to page two it shows there at the end of the thread, no bug, that's the way it is on all forums.
