Yeah, the number of T V ads has doubled, at least. I do crossword puzzles during the ads, and I go though a bunch of puzzles. I'm home bound most of the time. So, I can watch the 'murder' channels- one rape, gutting, and beheading after another. Or watch a 'reality' show, which is TV code for cheap, one camera, "they really are jackasses show". If you watch Fox News or MSNBC, it's a fantasy world of "fake" evil doers.

Kinda like the NYS thruway. Said it would be paid for in a few years, a long time ago. Now it costs a small fortune to travel the length of the road.

I find the commercials on the radio just as bad as those on the TV.
At least on the TV you can turn the mute on and go for a walkabout!

I hate the commercials on lunchtime TV here. It depends on who is sponsoring the programme, but generally it's "Poor Fred has just died and he was only 99 - I must go and take out an over 50's funeral plan" or "Last year, my daughter was at death's door and we planned to bury her in the back garden, and now she's an obnoxious spotty teenager who sells her body to buy drugs. Please support xxxxxx". We also have the ads for female incontinence pads.

I have trouble with the graphic commercials from various animal rights and rescue organizations.

I don't like to see it, either, but, unfortunately, worse than what is depicted is all too common.
