Is Trump the real thing or a summer fling?

I think Trump got nothing. But he did pledge to no longer choose to be in a third party campaign if he doesn't get nominated.

Could this be a 'revolution'?! Maybe they're not really FOR Trump but AGAINST the current politicians.

I do believe there is some truth in that comment of being against the current setup and players for many folks. Both on the Republican and Democrat sides.

I believe you may have the answer. For far too many years, I've had to listen to lifelong politicians drone on about the need for "A comprehensive Immigration reform package"
Now it seems to me that we already have a reform package on the books. Can anyone tell me how that worked out? Back in 1986 there was an estimated 4 million Illegal's of which, 2 million would be eligible the program. flash forward to today... now we have somewhere between 11-15 million illegal's.
I can't speak for everyone, but, while living in California during the 80's, I watched, listened, and was fooled by the "Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986"
As per Wiki.... here is the wording.

The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), Pub. L.,99-603, 100 Stat. 3445, enacted November 6, 1986, also known as the Simpson-Mazzoli Act, signed into law by Ronald Reagan on November 6, 1986, is an Act of Congress which reformed United States immigration law. The Act[SUP][1][/SUP]

  • required employers to attest to their employees' immigration status;
  • made it illegal to hire or recruit undocumented immigrantsknowingly;
  • legalized certain seasonal agricultural undocumented immigrants, and;
  • legalized undocumented immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously with the penalty of a fine, back taxes due, and admission of guilt; candidates were required to prove that they were not guilty of crimes, that they were in the country before January 1, 1982, and that they possessed minimal knowledge about U.S. history, government, and the English language.
At the time, the Immigration and Naturalization Service estimated that about four million undocumented immigrants would apply for legal status through the act and that roughly half of them would be eligible.[SUP][2]

Yeh, so called 'comprehensive immigration reform', in the meantime all the professional politicians and pundits that spout that give few or no details.

To deport and/or control new immigrants all that has to be done in use existing laws, processes and organizations that are in place. It won't give immediate results but the 3-5 years down the road it will make a huge difference.

I've seen this is the private sector as well where existing policy and procedure has been ignored by the employees and management alike and when the new management comes in rather than trying to fix or actually use existing policy they implement a new system to stamp their name on it along with being to bothered to figure out what exactly is going on or wrong.
