My neighbor in the condo directly above mine, keeps clunking some hard object down on his obviously uncarpeted floor, including throughout the night. Don't know what it is, and I also haven't met this neighbor, so there's no un-awkward way to introduce myself and ask him to stop.
Also, my reaction would depend on what is causing the clunking. If he is disabled and has a prosthetic leg, or is using an oxygen tank, that's one thing. If he has a pet who is playing with a toy by slamming it against
the floor, that would be another.
