I didn't know the Chinese now owned MG... should have guessed tho'. We've gone from being one of the largest Manufacturers of cars to almost nothing now.. very sad.!It is made by Chinese company SAIC.
Simply marketed under the name MG - Originally Morris Garages, British design.
Now owned by the Chinese.
MG headquarters is still in London but the vehicles are made in China, Thailand and India.I didn't know the Chinese now owned MG... should have guessed tho'. We've gone from being one of the largest Manufacturers of cars to almost nothing now.. very sad.!
MG's are an iconic car.. I hope they still make them as good as the originals

Today whilst driving my car the transmission disengaged and I was left motionless on the road.
The only way to re-engage the gears was to rev the car extremely.
It happened several more times as well.
Will be taking the car back to the dealer on Monday.
Bought a lemon.

They sure are beauties.View attachment 286608

My MG came off the production line in 1947, three years before my
lady put in an appearance. Don't they make a lovely couple..
Is that like UBER?My posture on owning cars is: do NOT!!! I rent chauffeur driven limos only as I need them. The price is $ 135 for a 2 hours trip including the chauffeur. I only go on trips about 6 to 12 times per year. It's a lot cheaper to pay the chauffeured driven trip rental than owning a car. Since I am 88 years old, it's also a lot safer for me.
Buick has always been a favorite American car on foreign markets.I had an MG TD, an MGA, and my wife had an MGB. Those were the real MGs.
Buick makes and sells more cars in China than in the US.
