It is time to buy another vehicle.

It is made by Chinese company SAIC.
Simply marketed under the name MG - Originally Morris Garages, British design.
Now owned by the Chinese.
I didn't know the Chinese now owned MG... should have guessed tho'. We've gone from being one of the largest Manufacturers of cars to almost nothing now.. very sad.!

MG's are an iconic car.. I hope they still make them as good as the originals

MG headquarters is still in London but the vehicles are made in China, Thailand and India.
SAIC stands for Shanghai Automotive Industry Company, a Chinese state-owned business and the largest carmaker in China.

I've been driving a Hyundai vehicle for over 15 years. My first one lasted 13 years, and I'd still have it, if other drivers would have stopped crashing into it. I was in the hospital and nursing homes for a year-came home and the thing started up. It's made in South Korea, I'm not sure, but I think they might have US plant.

Today whilst driving my car the transmission disengaged and I was left motionless on the road.
The only way to re-engage the gears was to rev the car extremely.
It happened several more times as well.
Will be taking the car back to the dealer on Monday.
Bought a lemon.

My MG came off the production line in 1947, three years before my
lady put in an appearance. Don't they make a lovely couple..

My posture on owning cars is: do NOT!!! I rent chauffeur driven limos only as I need them. The price is $ 135 for a 2 hours trip including the chauffeur. I only go on trips about 6 to 12 times per year. It's a lot cheaper to pay the chauffeured driven trip rental than owning a car. Since I am 88 years old, it's also a lot safer for me.

Is that like UBER?

I took the car back to the dealer this morning, on my way the gears disengaged once, while doing a u -turn.
It is being sent back to MG - Perth
I was given a replacement car until mine is repaired.
Replacement car is a 2018 Commodore ZB
