That's what I call dessert heaven!Any time Marg. You would like the Egg Nog Ice cream. My mother in law with take some home, Pours chocolate dust mixed with bourbon over the top of it. The lady really know how to live!
A lovely recipe!I grew up with it and still enjoy a low carb version.
This is the recipe that my mother used to make eggnog when we were sick and it's the one that I will use tomorrow.
1 cup of milk, almond milk, etc...
1 large egg
1 tbsp. sugar or sugar substitute
1/4 tsp. vanilla
grated nutmeg
Whirl in a blender and add a shot of booze if you like. If you are concerned with eating raw eggs you might want to pass on this one.
