A virus has ravaged the Earth
We're told to give all a wide berth
Then buy disinfectant
To use as injectant
A suggestion that has little worth.

If you don't wear a mask
You'll be taken to task
Won't let you buy food
Get you into a mood
So, follow the rule
And don't be a fool
Please do as your told
And you'll grow nice and old

Can you imagine at the end of Corona?

When we all emerge from our coma

Oh what a fright

When we all unite

And everyone’s hairy, fat and finally sober ?

There once was a pilot named Jake

Who flew out to his house by the Lake

Friends came to be with him in Sonoma

And they all ended up with the Corona

I'm here in my room all alone.
They don't even give me a new bone.
Did I chew on a shoe?
WHat else did I do?
When will home, again feel like home?

When we go for a walk, i see friends,
But they dont let my leash to its ends.
I dont get a Pat,
Or told "Good boy" when I sat,
Oh, when will these new odd rules bend?

Where else did you expect

Wuhan is in China

And it shows no respect

Then along came this Virus that was cursed

Now we need a miracle, like a vaccine

Or a really funny cartoon named Maxine

Polio was a shadow over our childhoods
Then, Salk and Sabine delivered the miracle goods

It was clear sailing then
Till this horror begen

Now we need a new discovery, once again.

The endless reports of this virus
Are surely intended to tire us.
Is there no other news?
We've all got the blues.
We need something new to inspire us!

How many months long, will this go?
It's all come as a terrible blow.

We had no idea...
There would be so much fee-ah

And the angry discord it also would sew.
