It usually is, with one or two heatwaves. This year has been a nightmare.Wow, I always thought it would be cooler up there.
Like everyplace, it seems climate change has begun!

My cousin lives in Louisiana and he says that along with the intolerable humidity, he's got the frustration of thousands of flying insects sticking to his sweat every time he steps outside.yeah....the humidity is awful...step outside and it feels as if I stepped into a sauna...AC goes 24/7 ..plus ceiling fans...I can't wait for Oct to Mar months
What does dry heat do for one's hair?Yes, humidity is great for your skin, and that dry Arizona heat does wonders for your hair .. . Pick your choice!![]()

Interesting you mentioned Louisiana..I grew up in northern Louisiana, lived there through college then moved to Calif for 50 years, and am now in Florida. I really really dislike the humidity here and can hardly believe I grew up in a humid state..maybe because I was younger and it did not affect me as much?? Or I just didn't know any better except we took out-of-state trips ..still mostly we went east not west.My cousin lives in Louisiana and he says that along with the intolerable humidity, he's got the frustration of thousands of flying insects sticking to his sweat every time he steps outside.
I would think it would be good. I do not seem to notice the humidity on my hair and that was one thing I wondered about before moving here. I did start using spray wax so perhaps that helps...What does dry heat do for one's hair?
