It's time to change the frikken clocks.

Yeah, why should the world cater to those damned farmers and much-reviled children going to school in the mornings during non-Winter months? Or cut down on power usage for lighting?

Our privileges are at stake here!

Even the Romans were bright enough to do an equivalent thing about the time.

Get that rectal insect infestation cleared up, then buy yourself a watch supporting two time zones or something. Sheesh!

Where I live, on March 20,2025, if using DST, there will be 11 hours and 29 minutes of sunlight., Now with Standard time, there will be 11 hours and 29 minutes of sunlight. It's obvious how much more daylight we get by switching times twice a year. The cost savings are enormous

In my home there is only one clock and it is on the nightstand. I never change the settings, ever. When fall comes and we 'fall back' I just look at the clock and subtract an hour. When spring comes and we 'spring ahead' all is well. No anger, no pain, ... just zen

Hollydolly and her Brits did this a week ago. It's time to change the frikken clocks. There is no real scientific data that this does anything but irritate people. The best data says MAYBE there's a third of 1 percent savings, but that depends on location. Now, for the next week, I'll feel lousy, miserable, out of sorts. It's like calling Monday, "Sunday", so you'll have three days off, but you still have to go to work on the second "Sunday".
There are bills in the US & UK to abolish DST, with overwhelming approval, but haven't enacted them. Australia has repealed it, and OZ hasn't yet fallen into the sea.
I hate this changing time thing.
Correction...our clocks are changed at the end of this month.

Setting my watch which is complicated is a nuisance to me. Also the sleep routine takes getting used to and wish they would leave the time alone for whatever is decided to keep.

I am looking forward to DST again also ! Even though I still get up and go to bed when ever it feels right to me, I still look forward to the longer daylight in the afternoons, and do not mind sleeping through extra darkness in the mornings.
We do have a bill for the time to be permanent in congress, and i doubt that it would pass soon enough to make a difference this spring; but it could be passed before we change back this fall.
People writing about it on X seem to be fairly evenly divided between whether they think we should keep DST or standard time, and I would be fine with either choice, if we just did not have to change all the time.

I just finished changing ahead all 13 clocks and timers in my home, I only have my car left to change. Then........
Son of ...............!!!!!!!!!!
Was it fall ahead??? Fall back. Spring back? Spring ahead??
GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
I just synchronize everything with the time on my phone.
