really?...wow!! That's a surprise... but there's so many different flavours to choose from you'd have to be careful to get the flavours you like in case it put you off for life!!

What's a food you have never eaten but would like to try?
Caviar

I plan on tasting some while topside

Had the opportunity a few times but turned it down

Spent a lota days around fish eggs while fishing for steelhead

Even tasted the eggs a bit from the residue of roe on my fingers while noshing on beef jerky when fishing…..not….too….good

But, hey, I plan to try the supposedly good stuff

Durian. "World's stinkiest fruit."

I was trying to think of what it is, I might want to try and couldn't come up with anything I felt I've missed out on till Marie5656' post. There are quite a few exotic fruits, I'd enjoy sampling.

White truffles that I'd find with my truffle-smelling dog, while roaming the Asti and Alba region in Italy. (In reading up on this pursuit, it seems I would, most likely, be shot on sight, if I was exploring the primo truffle areas without paying a hefty sum and getting permission from the "Truffle Lords.") The Truffle Festival is going on, around now, as I recall.

I'll second the durian fruit. I've seen them in Asian grocery stores but they're too expensive to "experiment" with. Strange that something can smell so bad but supposedly be delicious.

A few years ago my "raw foodist" son  brought a couple of them to my house. They smelled so awful I made him leave them outside.

My mother used to fry fish roe; it was delicious. I think caviar is disgusting, though.

I would also like to try truffles. Not just those dinky specks they put in some foods and say it contains truffles. Recently my son went to Georgia and he said he had collard greens and liked them. I've never had them so I'm going to try them this week if our store carries them.
