I wonder if someone thinks country music is always about love and church and maybe a little rodeo? They need to clesr their heads and clean their ears. “Wait in the truck” is a tune I like….about killing an abusive man. Killer becomes a hero…go figure. Country has a long long tradition of talking about the seamier things in life. That is why i love it.

Anything that speaks to family, loyalty, country proud, communities sticking together, law and order, will get pummeled by the tabloid media these days.
Why? Because it is the opposite of the path current politics want to take this country in the future.
The nucleus of the family needs to be broken down and replaced with government being the overseer of what a family is. Total dependency is needed on the government to achieve the outcome they want to impose and they can't do it if the family and community stick together.
