Does anybody read/listen to Jordan Peterson? Thoughts?
He has gone through so much in his recent years. Catastrophic health issues (non Covid-19), daughter also has bad health scare, loss of his tenure to name a few. I too agree with his on point philosophies. I mostly appreciate his academic talk but I almost need to have paper and pen with me to take notes, as you said.I do. His philosophies are on-point. My only criticism is that he tends to ramble, and he uses terms that are too academic. He'd be a lot more relatable if his speech was more down-to-earth.
Lately he's been real emotional, and I don't know if it's his age or his medication, but unfortunately, it's pretty distracting.
Oops I guess I failed to do a search before I posted. Call me a newbie error.Wasn't Jordan Peterson discussed in another thread here? When I googled him I found I had read the page before.
If you want watch some of this. I always come away after listening to him feeling like I have learned nothing . He seems to exist in the intellectual eithers.Never heard of him before.
You know what? I did hear of him before... it was on this site. He made no sense to me.If you want watch some of this. I always come away after listening to him feeling like I have learned nothing . He seems to exist in the intellectual eithers.
To be fair, he does academic research involving data. He isn't that concerened with application of the data, but he is concerned about the mis-application of the data.
I did but quit because although some of what he says is interesting he's basically a fear monger and I'm scared enough.Does anybody read/listen to Jordan Peterson? Thoughts?
