Well Good morning Everyone,

Today is sunny, first for a few, Plans today are wash and hopefully wax the truck, depends on how long it takes...and work on opening the pool.. Hope everyone has a GREAT Sunday...

My day will be one of relaxation like many days! Trying to be more mindful of my eating habits so I get healthier. Will take the dog out for a walk as usual. I really don't have any plans...sort of going with the flow today...whatever will be will be :playful::sentimental:
 
I've just returned from attending my church's early service which started at 8:15
The rest of the day,reading local paper,my book,take my mid morning&afternoon walks
Tonight,I'll watch my favorite baseball team,LA Dodgers vs Cubs on ESPN
 
Sounds like everyone has had a wonderful day yesterday...

Well I got the truck complete except shinning up the tires, and cleaning out the box...

For today, will be working on the pool... That's if I can get any sleep tonight...
 
This morning I'll be at a org I've been volunteering at for 4yrs
Last Mon,was my 1st morning calling some members because the staff needs more help
My regular morning is Tues,I come in twice/month doing filing and other office work
 
We went down to Saluda yesterday for brunch at a new restaurant. Then to Tryon to walk around and then a nice drive to see a beautiful waterfall. Then came home and I took a nap. Altogether a great day. Today is "lazy day". All day. I'm not going to do anything more strenuous than wandering over to the pool....maybe....and/or a nap.
 
Went to Supercuts for a cheap and flashy haircut.

Dropped off two sacks of books at the thrift shop then went in and looked around came out empty handed but I found a dollar in the parking lot. Thank you, Jesus!

Drove past the grocery store, decided to come home and eat leftovers.

Watching and waiting for the FedEx man to arrive.

It's just another manic Monday! :rolleyes::playful::eek:nthego:
 
It is a humid rainy day here so I will do some inside projects. Maybe start painting the bird houses my son made . I already baked a pan of brownies. I haven't baked in awhile with all the garden work. What I should do is master the new laptop my daughter gave me as a combination Mothers Day and Birthday gift. I keep putting it off because I don't do well with electronics. As an example,I couldn't get the scanner to put the photos on the computer. My daughter asked if I plugged it in. I had plugged it into the wall but didn't know I had to plug it into the computer as well.

She will have fun with that one for years to come.
 
We came home from housesitting for our daughter in LA and got here about noon. Took a nap, sat on the porch in high humidity, almost 100* and watched a couple minutes of a short rain. I'm still tired and going to bed soon after I unpack my suitcase.
 
Started off rainy today so I pretty much lounged around, reading. Managed to do my nails (mani and pedi) and cooked spaghetti with meat sauce for dinner. Then a bath and more lounging. It's rough being retired.
 
Well yesterday, worked on the pool. Then we looked at ways to put up a fence around the pool before the Grandson gets too interested in the pool. Had a small nap. Today is the day I go out for Breakfast with the guys, do it every Tuesday... Have yourselves a wonderful day...

It's all about FedEx, they won't leave my package unless I catch them at the main entrance and sign for it.

That requires me to listen for the distinctive sound of the sliding truck door and run down two flights of stairs before he gets away.

After I left my initial post I received an email saying that FedEx had handed my package off to the USPS. The USPS person will walk up the two flights of stairs leave the package by my door and ring the bell!

I guess the local porch pirates are too lazy to climb two flights of stairs! :):playful::eek:nthego:
 
wow. missed this thread on the 16th. That was my birthday so I spent it trying out my new (to me) backhoe moving a rock wall into a pile. Then, loaded the rocks (by hand) into the bucket of my tractor and managed 4 loads before pooping out. Jumped in the pool and cooled down, :) then went out to the shed and pulled the mower deck off and shimmed the crooked cutting blades. :( Finally a trip to the burn barrel.

Now today, was a much better day. Wife and I hit the highway for a leisure bike ride. :D:D Wife is enjoying her new found freedom by biking rather than hanging on the back of my scoot.

Squatting dog, that sounds like a lot of fun.. Hope you are enjoying it and having a great time...

Well I slept in today, first time for many many months, but now I am like 2 hours late starting my chores, enjoying my time on here, and playing the games, and joining into some conversations. So I won't be back on to the later part of the day, or tomorrow morning.

Had a great breakfast with the guys like we do every week, then someone usually goes to McDonalds and gets coffee, and we come back here for more chat. So it was a good time yesterday...

Well have to get out and cut the grass before the Grand Son gets here, Lorie has just taken him to the park for about an hour... I hope YOU all have a GREAT day... and it's Hump Day already, where is the week going... Talk to YOU all soon...
 
Good Morning, One and all, or it might be Goodnight...

Well got up little after 1am, One of my pups woke me up (Carl) cuz he had some bathroom things he had to do, They never seem to wake up Lorie. Anyways got up let him out, had a smoke, and when we were coming in, Ginger escaped. Hate leaving her out all night, there is so much that can get her, Wolves, Coyotes, and even Fischers. So, guess who just came to the front door, So going to try and get some sleep.

So yesterday, I got all the grass cut with the tractor. Visited with Grand Son for a bit till lunch time, and nappy time. Friends of ours popped in, brought some coffee, had a good visit. Drove him up to get his truck from the garage.

So today before the rain, Hoping to get some weed eating done...

Hope YOU all have a FANTASTIC Thursday, and try to stay a little bit out of trouble...
 
The birds woke me up at 5:30 was able to go back to sleep for 20min
Today is one of my volunteer mornings at my church in the business office which I've been doing since '09.After I retired{'11} added Fri mornings too
I have been given weekly tasks to do which I enjoy.One of the ladies,Lenore,our terrific graphic designer, has taught me so many computer skills In the beginning,I really didn't know how to use my computer,thanks to her now its easy..She prints out all the weekly bulletins/monthly newsletters to be mailed.I fold/tape/label/put stamps on newsletters. I also help the other ladies in the office when needed Sue
 
Well, it's a brand new day to do whatever you want or can. I will walk the doggie as usual and need badly to do grocery shopping. My fridge looks like "mother hubbard's cupboard!" I am even eating the frozen stuff I buy for when I don't feel like cooking. I guess I should be grateful I have those items in the freezer yet...lol..:)
 
Apparently may need to look into collecting animals for the ark. This is my area. Blue at top is one of the Great Lakes....Lake Ontario
