I'm so glad you love it Della ❣️I remember this Ivory Joe Hunter song too. Gotta love YouTube. I get to see what so many artists from back in the day looked like. The Clovers had other hits too. I'm surprised this one didn't chart higher on the R & B charts though. It was #23. Don't You Know I Love You , the one you and I love, hit #1.

Who didn't love Do-Wop. This first song is one of my favorite Do-Wop songs although The Charts were better known for the second one I think.

I had the pleasure of seeing Joe Simon at the Apollo Theater when I was probably in my early 20s. This man is so under rated and his recordings don't really do his voice justice. In person his voice was magnificent. One of my favorites by him.

We have tickets to see EWF and Chicago later this year. I believe there are still 3 original performers in the band, including Philip Bailey as vocalist. Love his voice. Very excited!
