Jupiter Visible Last Night

Last a single star close to the moon was the planet Jupiter. Where it will be tonight I don't know but looking at it if you see it tonight consider these numbers.
The distance from Earth is 444 million miles or 715 kilometers. At closest proximity it is 365 million miles or 588 kilometers and the time to travel to Jupiter is on the average less than one light year at 43 light minutes.

What part of the sky was it in. I have a clear view to the east, but nothing to the west.

I think you meant to say, Less than one light hour.
