Just another day at Walmart.....

In 1969, I was stationed at St. Albans Naval Hospital, in NYC. What made the hospital a point of irritation for anti- Vietnam War protesters was that was where most of the physicals for draftees in Queens, NYC took place. There wasn't a week that went by without a bomb threat. We'd get rousted out bed at 3 AM to look for a bomb. What the hell does a bomb look like?
One thing about placing a bomb in a Walmart, considering what the stores look like, how would you know if the bomb went off?

You call EOD.

Back in the day I worked at a shipping company. We had been experiencing threats.

One day a mysterious substance appeared on the main belt. Everything was shut down and the proper authorities were on their way. My Homer Simpson Supervisor walks up...sticks his finger into the substance...licks it...and exclaims that it is only icing sugar!

You can't make this stuff up, folks!
