Just 'ran out of minutes'..

I've heard of some people who live down near Slab City in California where they have such a limited budget that they get over to download all their information once a week and then respond a week later.

And I'm not talking 5 gigs I'm talking one gig Max. So that does talk about having a tough lifestyle.

Personally my limit is supposed to be 50 gigs but I exceed that quite often since I'm on the phone pretty much all day long. My lowest was when I was in Yakima I actually spent 5 gigs on my phone one month.

I have unlimited, talk and text with one gigabyte of data for a flat fee of 15 per month from T-Mobile. I’ve had this plan for four years and they’ve never raised the price. Now the plan is a flat fee of $25 if you are a new customer.

I think I have limited talk minutes but I don't remember ever running out. (As an introvert being able to claim that I don't want to use up my minutes is a favorite excuse to get off of phone calls.)

I've run out of my limited data in the past, my lesson learned from that was to download reading material to my phone before I get on a train that doesn't provide free wifi.

As soon as I could get unlimited, or at least a reasonably high amount of data, I bought that plan. We used to travel a lot and I never use local wifi. I tether my ipad to my phone. Works great.

Well, I'm 'puling a Kramer'
i.e=(on 'Seinfeld) the episode where he's test driving a car and runs out of gas ..and 'see' how far he can go!šŸ˜‰

I can't run out of minutes.

My mobile has unlimited domestic and international calls and texts plus 160Gb data but it costs me $230 a year so it is not cheap.

I think it goes up to $300 a year next renewal but with 300Gb data. The problem is I only use about 30Gb data a year (I have fibre to my home) but it is nice chatting to my relatives in the UK for hours. A far cry from the days when you had to book a three minute overseas call!

Actually the International calls are only to about 27 countries but they are most of Asia, North America and Europe so unless I suddenly make friends in South America, the Middle East, or Africa it will do me.
