Just so you guys know

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
When I lost my baby to cancer on Jan 30th, you guys and this forum kept me from suffering alone. I have loved this gang from my first day here a few years ago. I cannot thank you enough. God bless us.....

Thank you Jim, I'm sure you would be just as caring and supportive towards any of us faced with such heartbreak

I agree, we are very lucky, for such a diverse group, not always seeing eye to eye, but, when the chips are down we're here for each other

I agree totally with Wren... however hard it is, and of course it's Bluddy hard when you lose a loved one .. if you have someone to talk to any time of the day or night it helps just smooth off the ragged painful edges... hopefully!!

Thanks Jim, I hope this place with all the kind and caring folks is still around if I lose my husband, nice to have a place to go to talk....or just listen. :sentimental: Good luck with your beans today, I'm sure they'll be delicious!

I lost my daughter to leukemia. She was only 12 years old so I know how it feels to lose a child

Ron, Jim just recently lost his dear wife. I'm sorry you lost your daughter, I know you and your family were (and still are) devastated and heartbroken, my condolences. :rose:

AZ Jim, even when dealing with heartbreak, this forum makes a person feel like it's the best kind of neighborhood to be a part of, so couldn't agree with you more! :sunshine:

I honestly love our group. I consider them to be the treasure I was seeking when I landed upon the shore of this island that Matrix created for us.

I consider the online friends we've made here at SF like 'extended family members'. We may disagree at times on different topics but we are always here for each other especially when somebody has lost a loved one .We help the person with their grief and continue to keep their spirits up as they continue on through a difficult time Sue

Thank you for the thank you Jim, it is only the
same as you would do for anybody else here.

Mike.

Jim, I know exactly how you feel because I lost my husband 3 years ago and having support from people is something very special. I am so glad you have been able to receive that from here and I hope I am able to receive the same as well and from just being here a few short hours I already feel a lot of what everyone is talking about with the special people that are here on this forum.

its always nice to have someone to talk to--it makes life a little easier instead of keeping every thing inside
