I have just turned 60 and it’s hard to believe all these years have went by I thank God for allowing me these years but I’ve had many battles many traumas and many losses and disappointments so how do you deal with knowing at age 60 you don’t have much longer in the world? It gets scary for me but Ian happy to have had such a wonderful husband that’s taken such good care of me

Hello and Welcome, @Denise60. :giggle:

I turned 60 about six months ago and struggle with the same existential crisis. It's unsettling, but it does seem to be easing up as time goes by. I'm hoping that happens for you too. Maybe 60 is just the "freak out" age. ;)

Enjoy the forum. There are lots of great people here.

At age 84 with less time left & knowing my father, mother, older brother & 2 younger brothers all died before reaching age 61 I feel that life should be lived & enjoyed one day at a time. No sense in worrying about death since there is no way to know when or how death will happen.

Hi and Welcome, @Denise60!!
I'm so glad that you found us here and decided to give us a try!!

Life can be difficult and I'm sorry to hear that it's taken a toll on you.
guess everyone deals with trauma, loss and disappointment in different ways.
I would hope that you try to make the best out of the time that you have left... the life that
God gives you. Then walk in a manner that would be pleasing to God... do right and it will go well for you, tight?

I hope to hear you sharing in the Forums!!
