This for the fornunate seniors who are not immobile...yet.

She does a bunch of different 30 minute work outs. I used to love to dance, and I still do but much like what she is doing. This might be useful for some who would like to exercise to their favorite music by dancing in a "senior" way. You others just keep "cutting the rug". :)

Thank you for posting that, @Paco Dennis . I think I can do this, so I'm going to try it. I probably can't do the entire 30 minutes, but for each minute or two that I can add, I will definitely see my progress.

The simple bilateral side to side rhythmic all body dance movement she begins with over several minutes is key to many dancing styles. Learn that and one will have an alternative way to regularly exercise that can be more fun than simple walking. These rhythmic styles evolved from jazz and tap styles of earlier generations that tended to fall out of favor by the 1980s. Outside Hip Hop, since the Disco dance styles began in the mid 1970s, most recent decades dance styles beyond those taking formal jazz dance classes have changed to a mostly upper body style with hip thrusts that is popular in clubs where people stay in one place.

With earbuds others cannot hear, I urban street dance for an hour or two about once a week in off seasons like now when waiting for skiing seasons to start. Because people cannot hear whatever earbud music, others may look at a person doing so for a moment or so and quickly lose interest paying little attention. So don't be shy, it is an optional way to exercise outdoors.
