Since I doubt seriously that anyone of us knew her personally ? It is very hard to comment about her in her passing , without the comment being "political" in some sense. Due to the position she held , the only thing "we" really knew about her.

For example, was she a nice person ? I really do not know, was she a PIA ? same answer, I do not know. She was a scholastic achiever , and a champion of woman's rights etc, and a staunch supporter of the liberal agenda.......but there again, that is noting everything political about her.

What do you consider to be the "liberal agenda?"

Never mind. I don't want to discuss politics.

Then why not skip this thread?? Good grief. This is about a woman's death, not her politics.

I offered my condolences . My further comments were in response to other post's about her & her passing. Good grief, do I need your permission to do so ? I think not!

The woman is a giant of a soul. One can read up on it. It's not just someone's opinion. We can see it in her entire life's work.

And you can interpret what you read as you wish [opinion] . How i read her 'accomplishments' may differ from yours. If her agenda matches yours, you of course are likely to respond favorably .
Whereas I might view them differently.

Very sorry to learn of her death, but it was expected for some time. She put up a great fight, but this darn disease seems to win more fights than it loses.

She will be remembered as one of the better judges on the SC. One thing was always certain with her. She followed the Constitution to the letter.

RIP, RBG

Oh I for one understand perfectly, that is why i do not see her as all that great.
There are times, when I realize, that some people just respond to issues to gain a certain amount of attention. Like a child, screaming-look at me, look at me. Whether you agreed with her or not, does not matter. Whether you knew her or not-does not matter. What your opinion of her is, does not matter.

She was GREAT. Her passing will change our nation and our lives. Like the deaths of so many other great people have.

I am deeply saddened by her death.
