KC vs Atlanta Last Night NFL

If Cousins just eats the ball towards the end of the first half, KC doesn't get their 3 points and going forward, the Falcons would have only needed a field goal to beat the Chiefs.

A bunch of bonehead mistakes. I blame the coaching staff.

As a Kansas City fan, I agree that the Falcons, overall, did not play well enough to beat the Chiefs. Actually, KC did not have their best game either...

This game was determined by the team who made the Fewest Mistakes. Hopefully KC will get it's act together, or their chances for another Super Bowl will be minimal. I was surprised that Mahomes and Kelce had almost no interaction,

If the Falcons would have kicked a field goal instead of trying for 6 in the final few minutes, they could have won it with another field goal.

All in all, though, that was a great, hard fought game! ... mainly a game of defenses.

In addition, it sucks that Monday night football isn't available OTA; you need an ESPN subscription or YouTube, which is $80 a month. Money is all that matters these days... more, more, more... gimme, gimme, gimme. How much is enough? Now you have to sit through a minute of commercials before watching a Prime Video movie, even though you need a subscription to watch Prime. And the Netflix app eats all the memory on Roku and you have to restart the Roku app half the time because of Netflix freezes and you wind up sitting there, hitting the buttons with nothing happening.

The Chiefs know the road to the SB is very, very long. They're careful of their record, but HC Reid believes it's critical to have the team "peaking" at the right time - which is not the first half half of the season.

HermitHogan, have to say we've not had your problems with the Roku/Netflix combo (we also have Hulu and YouTube subscriptions), no matter if I'm watching on my PC, my laptop, or our TV. Have you had your computer checked for viruses or memory chip issues?

I have the NFL+ subscription and feel it's well worth the money. Yes, you have to wait to see games (but I can't watch more than one game at a time anyway, so it doesn't make much difference). But even on "Full Game", it eliminates almost all the commercials, plus no halftime shows, so every game is between 2- to 2.5 hrs, max. If I want to re-watch last week's game, or even last season, it's just a few clicks away.

I LOVE that I don't have to listen to endless blathering by certain TV announcers whom I cannot stand, chatting on about some 'folksy cute anecdote' while ignoring what's happening on the field. That alone makes NFL+ worth it, LOL.

What do you pay for NFL+? I just checked on ESPN, which is the carrier of Monday Night Football. For $10.99, I'd get that plus some out of network games, plus baseball and other sports. Hmmm...

I don't think there's a virus on my Roku box, which is where I watch Netflix. I even bought a new Roku box, thinking the problem might be I needed a newer version. I wonder if its memory is expandable, which I'm guessing, would solve the problem.

I have the Plus Premium Plan. Another feature I love is the "Condensed Game" version - like an expanded highlights version. But you have to pay attention and use your Pause button to grab a snack or go to the bathroom, because every second is non-stop action!

Here's the info:
NFL+ has two subscription plans:
  • NFL+
The basic plan costs $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year. It allows you to stream live and on-demand NFL games, including local and national games, as well as ESPN Plus and Peacock exclusive games. However, you can only watch these streams on a phone or tablet.
  • NFL+ Premium
The premium plan costs $14.99 per month or $99.99 per year. It includes all the features of the basic plan, plus NFL RedZone, full-game replays, and Coaches Film. You can stream RedZone on TVs and computers in addition to phones and tablets.

NOTE: The types of games and content you can access with NFL+ depend on your plan, location, and viewing device. For example, the regular subscription and Premium tier only cover primetime and local in-market games. However, Premium subscribers can watch all games as full or condensed replays after they've concluded.
