Keith Richards, Rolling Stones, turns 80

Dec. 18, 2023, Keith Richards of the very famous Rolling Stones turned 80. I guess that means he's officially a geezer. I'm happy for him. Yet, ol' Keith was the posterchild for why drugs are bad for you. I don't want to seem morbid, but did you think you'd be celebrating Keith's 80th birthday?

I never thought about it but back then it was questionable whether Keith would live through the weekend. Every bad habit I still enagage in, I say to myself, " Keith Richards did the same." And, I don't feel bad.

Keith apparently stopped doing drugs decades ago ... something like 40 years ago. He much more recently (more recently than 40 years) quit smoking, too. I'd guess he has a pretty hardy constitution.
